Question: Can my 17 year old bring his 6 year old sister to their appointment?
Unfortunately all patients under the age of eighteen must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during an office visit.

The pricing for services and procedures varies. The best thing is to come on in, meet the doctor, Office Manager, and the rest of the staff and we can give you a more precise quote from there. Without an evaluation from the doctor, we are unable to determine what treatment is needed or recommended for your needs. Our prices are very comparable to other providers in the market.

Based on your exam, the doctor will be able to diagnose the proper cleaning recommended for you. We offer several types of cleanings to fit your needs and we want to be sure that we allow proper time for the service to be performed.

YES. Many diseases, lesions, and conditions can only be detected with the use of dental radiographs. It is impossible to see directly between the teeth or under the gums or bone without the use of a dental radiograph. Many times the patient has no signs or symptoms of disease. Dental x-rays can detect disease much sooner than the clinical examination alone. This enables the dentist to identify problems early so that pain and extensive, costly treatment can be avoided.

To schedule an appointment with the oral surgeon, you will need a referral for that specific specialist from your primary dentist. Not all Aspen Dental offices have an oral surgeon as part of their staff and may not accept outside referrals.

To schedule an appointment with the endodontist, you will need a referral for that specific specialist from your primary dentist. Not all Aspen Dental offices have an endodontist as part of their staff and may not accept outside referrals.

For a new patient that has never been seen by aspen dental, The first visit will consist of an x-ray, examination by the dentist and consultation with the office manager. There will not be any procedures on your fist visit.

At Aspen Dental we work with all insurances, therefore, all of our general dentists are credentialed and can provide service to all our patients. Your insurance has provided you a listing of dentists within our company rather than by location.

Medicaid is not insurance, it is a state-funded plan and unfortunately our office does not work with these programs. We do, however, offer flexible payment plans.

Generally, a local Novocain is used during treatments. IV sedation is only used by an oral surgeon. (Laughing gas/Nitrous Oxide is not offered.) Your initial appointment as a new patient to Aspen Dental includes a comprehensive exam by our doctor, x-rays and a consultation. Novocain is a local anesthetic that numbs just a particular area of the mouth. IV sedation is a conscious sedation where the patient is awake for the procedure and aware of their surroundings, but doesn't feel or remember anything about the procedure.

Sure, prior to your first visit, we require that you obtain a release form from your OBGYN, indicating that you can be seen in a dental office.

We do offer financing through Care Credit and Chase Health Advance. They have a very high approval rate and you can apply either online, over the telephone or in our office at the time of your visit. Please keep in mind that we require two forms of identification to set up the financing.

If you don't have insurance, the first visit will be of no charge to you. The doctor will perform the exam, take a look at the x-rays (digital images) and recommend a course of treatment that is right for you. The office manager will give you pricing information and talk to you about payment options. We can help make the treatment affordable for you. Discounts such as the free new patient appointment cannot be combined with insurance.
