The first step in creating your dentures is to complete an accurate impression of the upper and lower portions of the mouth. The impression is turned into a base that will help us create a complete model of your new smile called a "Try-In Denture."

Your Aspen Dental Dentist will have a variety of different teeth to choose from, with a wide range of color, shades and shapes, and translucency. These are inserted in the wax Try-In Denture as your doctor presents you with different options for your new smile. At this stage, you can preview and make changes to truly customize your new dentures.

Then we use two different but equally precise methods to create our dentures.
Cold-Pour is the traditional way dentures have been fabricated for years. And it uses a method and materials that have been proven for their reliability and durability.

Heat-Injected is a more advanced technology in which the denture material is injected into a custom mold with over 110 psi of pressure and then heat-cured. The resulting denture is stronger, denser and more closely matches the impressions of your mouth, so it can provide a more precise and comfortable fit.

When your dentures are ready, the final steps are the most crucial. Every Aspen Dental office features a Denture Lab where the doctor and denture technician can make final adjustments that are so vital to making your dentures fit well and work well. They are also readily available to make on-going adjustments if necessary to ensure that your dentures are as comfortable as possible.
